( there are parts that zoro can't fault sanji for, and there are parts that zoro absolutely faults him for.
the past shouldn't matter; they can all agree on that. that's a point in sanji's favor since, after all, there are any number of their crewmates who started off as their enemies at one point or another. so long as a person is loyal now, it shouldn't matter who they were before. zoro would be fine with that if sanji hadn't erroneously chosen his past rather placing faith in his crew to find a way to handle things in the present. that's what zoro would do, at least. if it were him. he'd never leave luffy's side, no matter how great the danger is.

presumably, it was meant to give some sort of landmark or identifying feature to help sanji figure out a way to the ship, but sanji should know by now that any question containing βwhereβ has no business being anywhere near zoro.
which is to say the photo is blurry, and crooked, and zoroβs finger is in the way. thereβs something pale in the background that could be sand? but it could just as easily be a sun glare.
