( which isn't a proclamation of forgiveness; it just is what it is. if luffy says sanji is a member of their crew, that's all there is to it. his own thoughts about it don't matter. even if there was a time where zoro was certain he'd never see that smug, swirly-browed face again [because sanji made his choice], he didn't allow himself to be weighted down by it because luffy said that wasn't happening. if luffy said he'd get sanji, then he'd get sanji.
and he did.
still, it doesn't mean that zoro is done with this. the tension's been broken, but it's going to have to build again. neither of them are finished extinguishing their feelings; he's certain of that.
damn it. why does it matter that it's sanji, anyway? his least favorite member of the crew. the one he tells to die at least three times a day, and that's on a good day. he shouldn't care if he turned out to be a misguided traitor, a person who turned his back on luffy. some part of zoro could have expected it, but he never did. for all his many, [many, many, many] faults, sanji's loyalty was never in question. neither was his dedication, or his compassion, or anything that really mattered.
