the past shouldn't matter; they can all agree on that. that's a point in sanji's favor since, after all, there are any number of their crewmates who started off as their enemies at one point or another. so long as a person is loyal now, it shouldn't matter who they were before. zoro would be fine with that if sanji hadn't erroneously chosen his past rather placing faith in his crew to find a way to handle things in the present. that's what zoro would do, at least. if it were him. he'd never leave luffy's side, no matter how great the danger is.
